About us
LiBCycle is a young, Munich-based company. We have made it our mission to make the circular economy of defective lithium-ion batteries more sustainable and efficient through our reliable all-in-one logistics service. We take care of all process steps along the value chain of your (used) batteries – from battery classification, to the provision of our specially developed, innovative battery boxes for legally compliant and secure packaging, to loading, to transport and storage of the batteries. Current challenge in the market
E-mobility is becoming increasingly important. More and more e-cars, e-scooters and the like are entering the market.
But what happens to the defective lithium-ion batteries in the end?
So far, the industry has focused on building up recycling capacities.
But the currently extremely confusing, complex, inefficient and cost-intensive transport of defective lithium-ion batteries goes unnoticed.
High organizational effort
In the future, a huge number of different battery and battery module types will have to be transported to a wide variety of locations. In addition, suitable packaging must be available at the right place and at the right time. This leads to a high coordination and organization effort for your employees
Complex logistics
In addition, once the battery is no longer as good as new, it must be transported as dangerous goods. Dangerous goods transport requires qualified personnel, specially equipped trucks, special packaging and additional certification if the battery is classified as waste.
Unintuitive packaging solutions
The current packaging solutions are laborious to handle due to the non-intuitive design and the many additional parts (pillows, pyrobubbles). Therefore, carelessness or lack of expertise can lead to incorrect loading of the batteries into the packaging and result in transport that is not legally compliant. This entails legal and financial risks for the company.

Battery Boxes
Benefit from our specially developed transport boxes for batteries: As a ready-made complete system, our transport packaging works simply, intuitively, quickly and safely. Thereby, you can rent, lease or buy our battery box depending on your specific needs.
Battery Classification
Our team of battery experts will gladly take over the classification of your batteries through a telematics system. This way, long and expensive travel times can be avoided. Of course, we assume liability for the legally compliant classification of your batteries.
Packing & Loading
If required, our trained personnel will gladly take over the packing and loading of the corresponding batteries at your site. We assume full liability for loading in compliance with the law, so you can be completely worry-free.
Storage & Consolidation
We will gladly take over the legally compliant, temporary interim storage of your hazardous and non-hazardous battery waste for up to 12 months for consolidation. We have all the necessary permits for this.
Dangerous Goods Transport
We transport your hazardous goods in compliance with the law, quickly and reliably. For this purpose, we have all the necessary legal certificates and permits as well as the appropriate ADR equipment for the international transport of hazardous goods.
Waste Transport
We are your partner for the international transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. With the help of our own fleet as well as ADR- and waste-trained personnel, we support you in all questions of waste logistics around your lithium-ion batteries.
Additional Services
As your Full Service B2B Partner, we are happy to take care of the Dismantling, Second Life and Recycling of your (used) batteries in addition to our battery transport box & logistics service, if required, with the help of our competent partner network.
